Abstract

|
A total of 493 mice in two colonies were examined pathologically to observe the aspects of spontaneous amyloidosis by colonies, ales, and strains. Amyloidosis was observed in 21 cases of the inspected mice. The incidence of amyloidosis was prevalent in the ICR mice older than 1 year. Amyloid deposition was conspicuous in the kidney, spleen, and intestine. Amyloidosis was observed in the association with chronic infectious lesions or plasmacytoma.
